Drinking in Turkey

If you can swallow the high prices you pay for alcohol here (the not terribly impressive bar that I have been going to charges 20 dollars just for one mojito!!!), going out for drinks can be quite a pleasant experience. With your drinks come plates of cucumbers, tomatoes, white feta-like cheese, mixed nuts, and fruits. I find it so much more pleasant to drink and stuff my face at the same time.
