Ethiopian Macchiato

After a mostly pleasant work trip to Ethiopia (I say mostly because I was mugged), the one thing I miss most are the macchiatos. I find the macchiato in Ethiopia different because there is more milk in the drink (like a latte macchiato) but there is also an insane amount of milk foam on top. Which all makes for a delicious drink with a gorgeous presentation.

This is the national drink of Ethiopia, after all, so you would expect it to be high quality. I for one am happy to be going back very shortly and to have many many more Ethiopian macchiatos in my immediate future.
