Restaurant Review: Top of the Hub
Top of the Hub is the restaurant on the top floor of the Prudential Center in Boston. The best thing about the restaurant is the amazing views. I went there for a light lunch yesterday, but was not impressed by their lunch menu. I ended up ordering a green salad and tuna tartare appetizer. My husband was luckier, but not much.
He ordered from the prix fixe menu and got a rock shrimp soup, pan seared salmon, and creme brulee. While his salmon was excellent, the soup was boring and bland and the dessert was far too large for one person. His dessert was bigger than my tuna appetizer! Unfortunately, that is far too common in American restaurants. Also, why do so many upscale restaurants serve the same food? If I'm paying a premium to eat there, I would prefer eating food I don't cook at home.
The dinner menu looks more promising. If I were going to go back, I would go for dinner. Click here for the website.
