A Wonderful Whole Wheat Pasta

As I was browsing the pasta aisle at my local Whole Foods, I spotted Gia Russa's 100% Whole Wheat Linguine. Since I hadn't yet found a whole wheat pasta I truly liked, I thought I'd try it. Well sometimes it pays to try new things. The pasta was absolutely wonderful! The box said whole grain, but the flavor was so light and delicate I had to double check the ingredients list after tasting.

I paired this pasta with a very light sauce. Sometimes the taste of whole wheat can drown out light pasta sauces, but the pleasant taste of the linguine remained in the background as my wonderful tomato sauce took center stage in the taste arena. So far, this is the best whole wheat pasta I've eaten!
